Colijn IT is privately owned IT-company, leading provider for innovative ERP software, Web-shops, 3D-simulations and other IT-services for furniture retail industry in Netherlands and other European countries. Due to company long history and specific geographical location they required continuous quality assistance in migration to new technologies, new features delivery and reduction in vendor lock costs for their products.

ENBISYS performed detailed audit of Client's system, identified key business objectives and optimal solution to reach them and put up a detailed roadmap to implement those. Agile working methods were introduced and easily adopted by the Client which led to efficient and productive cooperation through distributed teams.
First stage of the process to increase products functionality included PL/SQL migration to Java EE Platform. Due to ENBISYS proven experience of successful migration from legacy technologies this process has been going on smoothly. Besides conversion to modern technologies ENBISYS advised the Client to add all kinds of testing (Unit tests, Integration and Functional tests) into their development process, as well as introduction of Knowledge Sharing program with Colijn IT experts.

Two SCRUM teams were set up comprising 16 members altogether. Migration from PL/SQL to Java EE was done by both teams and is going quite fast due to teams' high qualification, meaning the team is capable to run full-stack development process by its own. At the same time we implemented new ready to market features and updated all UI with Angular framework. All our joint efforts led to faster feature production, stable and maintainable solution and by this complete Clients satisfaction.
